The elevation ranges from 120 feet above sea level to 3000 feet above sea level,providing varied climates and terrain to suit every preference. The panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean to the west, the three mountains Hualali, Mauna Loa, and Mauna Kea to the south, and the Kohala mountains to the northeast, are truly breathtaking and magical. Home lots vary in size from under one acre to five acres in the lower elevation Heathers I and Heathers II, three to five acres in mid elevation Meadows I and Meadows II, to ten acres in the upper elevation summit. Underground utilities including water, electricity, telephone and cable lines run to property lines, preserving the unencumbered magnificent vistas and open spaces on the Ranch. Water is provided by Kohala Ranch Water Company, a private company that supplies water to the Ranch and surrounding communities. The Kohala Ranch Community Association Board, elected by the members, is responsible for the governance of the community. The common areas , security gates, and roads within the community are maintained by the Association;. The Architectural Control Committee oversees and guides adherence to the Design Guidelines for all construction and landscape projects on the Ranch.     |
